Well I have been hinting so much about whats coming, I decided to give you a sneak peek.

At some point in the next week I will be officially changing names and branding.
Below is my new logo. It's not flashy, It is just a clean, simple look.
As I take steps into the future I want to be able to encompass all types of photography and while LiveLoveLaugh has served me well, I did not see that as part of my future.

I have been working hard on updating my websites with the new colors and logo. I have also changed the layout slightly and used the websites to their full advantage. New photos, some of your favorites, and more....

I hope you will all come along on this new journey with me.
Please don't worry about finding me, as the old links will direct everyone there as well as the new links.

I will make my official announcement and post the new links as soon as everything is 100% ready to go!.

Concert time!

So, theres a few concerts I am really looking forward to going to.
When I lived in Los Angeles.. I went to whatever concert I wanted, and that was often. Having connections at the Ampitheatre at Universal was great and I was very lucky to get in to the pit on some of my fav shows.
Up here in Seattle, its not the same and clearly more $$ ( whats more $$ then free right)
Anyway...Im super excited because July 11th we got tickets to Coldplay!

Coldplay is probably one of my favorite bands.. even though I am happier with the music they were making before Gwenyth Paltrow entered the picture... I still cant help be swept away in the musical and lyrical genius which is Chris Martin!

The other show I want to go to but havent got tickets for (YET)
is No Doubt with Paramore. I have liked No Doubt since Tragic Kingdom and I really admire Gwen Stefani and what she has done for herself ( marrying Gavin Rossdale.. yummy just amung the many things)
I also really like Paramore and I would like to see them in concert..( I have seen Coldplay and No Doubt before)
I hope to take Justin to this show as he is a huge fan also. ( Justin is my 13yr old son) I introduced him to concerts at a young age. He was 5 and went to see ALien Ant Farm and 311 with me on Halloween! Fun times..

What I wouldnt give to have a media pass to photograph ANY of these shows! That would be a dream come true. I would LOVE to get into that type of work!

Changes on the horizon! This weeks news

So I know I keep saying that changes are coming! I do mean that!
I am going through a total re-brand. I am excited about the changes and what it means for not only my business but for me personally.

Will I still be in photography? Of course, this is my passion.

Why a re-brand? I have seen my goals and direction change. I have really developed a passion for fashion ( haha) and photos that are a bit different then your average studio portrait. I also want to dedicate alot of focus to growing my wedding photography and the sessions that go with that. bridal/boudoir/trash the dress etc... In order to do this I felt changing my business branding was important.

Once everything is finalized I will have a huge relaunch. I will have updated websites and a new blog. All the information will be passed on to my old clients as well as future clients!

While I have been doing this, I have taken a step back so I havent been as busy with actual sessions. I took this time to spend with my family. This friday we went to the Zoo. I should have known better then to go during "winter" most of the animals knew better and were not to be seen.

I think this photo wraps up not only the day but my daughters general feeling towards having a mom as a photographer!

This photo I thought was cute ebcause she carried around her purse so proudly. In it was 3 stuffed horses.. her favorite thing ever. She must have hundreds of horses in the house... its an obsession.

This was at lunch. She can be so dramatic with her expressions.

I just wanted to share the good news with all of you.
I have been made Director Of Operations for the PIF blog.

Those of you not familiar with the Pay it Forward blog. It is a Photography Resources Blog. Here photographers share advice as well as photography related items with each other. Paying it forward so to speak.

I was lucky to have met Lindsay last year and worked with her then at ther PIF party at WPPI in Vegas. I did so again this year and then was made part of the team.

I do have a background in Operations Management and working events, as well as being a photographer myself. This was a perfect fit for me.

Neon Boneyard Part 2

I have got some exciting things happening in the future. I cant wait to share them all with you!

Last night I watched the "Oscars" those that know me, know I LOVE anything Hollywood, celeb, fashion related so watching all the red carpet coverage was GREAT!
The show itself had moments, but for the most part was a tad boring. We need more comedy! Huh Jackman was good though.
I could have done without Zac and Vanessa though.... ( could have used much more Rob Pattinson) :)

Hey All....
I am back from Las Vegas! I left Sunday morning and arrived at about 10:20am. I headed on over to the MGM Grand which is where I was staying and where the convention was held. I checked in and while tempted to upgrade for a low low cost.. I decided since I was there by myself and not sharing a room, that my room would suffice. I wanted a strip view room but I didn't want to wait until 3pm to check in. So I got a view of the airport, Motel 6 and Hooters Hotel. ( joy)
There were sooooooo many things to do and see. I had to register and pick up my badge. Highlight from Sunday was the PIF PARTY http://www.pifphoto.com/ .
I was the Creative Claims Director and in charge of issuing prizes and making sure the games ran smoothly and that people got their prizes. It really well and guess what... I even worse a super cute mini dress with cute silver heels. I wonder if anyone took a photo because I don't have one. After that it was on to Rouge where we had some drinks. Then it was time for bed (2am)
Monday highlights were the classes I took. Jim Garner who happens to be a Seattle Wedding Photographer.. and Doug Gordon.. one of the most inspiring photographers and business people.. and another class that was ok... Then it was a party at Rouge thrown by Scarlett Lillian and I won a fee song from Triple Scoop Music. More drinks... and photos...
Tuesday my highlight was shooting at the Neon Boneyard. I have always wanted to shoot there. This is a museum of old Las Vegas signs. I put this shoot together about a month ago and we had over 35 photographers show up. It was amazing and we had some great models. I will be posting a photo post tomorrow.
I also meet some great people this day and for me that's always a plus.
Tuesday night was a party at the Bellagio for LoveCat where I won a t-shirt and then back to MGM for some dancing at Studio 54.
There isn't really a highlight for Wednesday because that's the day I left, which is always sad. I did go to the tradeshow and buy some pocket wizards, a shootsac, and hip slip and a new camera strap ( purple of course because that's my favorite color).

I think more then anything this year at WPPI was more then just learning.. for me it was networking and stepping out of my comfort zone to do things that I usually wouldn't do ( go up to one of Amercias Top Ten Wedding Photographer and introduce myself) organize a huge photo session and then walk around and introduce myself to people.
Im get very nervous when I meet new people, its always been like that for me. So I am really proud of myself for taking a look outside of myself and doing things that really helped me develop more. Because of all this I met some amazing people I will hopefully keep in touch with. People who can help me learn and grow as a photographer and people that I can establish friendships with. ( not to mention people I can annoy with my barrage of text messages) :)
Another PLUS of tradeshow was one of my photos was chosen to be used as a canvas display for Canvas Complete.. a canvas company. My logo was on it displayed for everyone to see. That made me really proud that out of hundreds of submissions they felt my photo was good enough to display. :)

I also happened to run into Dean Zulich ( i took his workshop in Jan) He came to the PIF party Sunday night and we bumped into each other a few times at the Tradeshow. Dean is someone I really really want to learn from, so hopefully I can assist him on one of his shoots soon.

So that's a quick or not quick for that matter... view of my week.

Oh and a p.s- another thing it made me realize was I need to get out more. It was so good to be out of the house and enjoying myself... i don't do that here because its just different.. Although i guess that's another post entirely

I knwo it has been a long time. There is no excuses. I promise to be more on top of this. IN fact, if I go more then a week without a post. The first person to notify me gets 50% off their session fee for a session!

So a few things going on I want to share

2. I am headed to LAS VEGAS for the WPPI ( Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) convention. A place where thousands upon thousands of photographers go to learn from some of the best, to network with peers, to see some of the new products being introduced, and to of course take photos in Vegas. So look for my next blog post which will detail my 4 days.
3. Last week I had a session which came to me through one of the charities I particpate in.
www.littlestheroesproject.org. We had so much fun and the family was so wonderful and loving. I really enjoy being able to give back to those who need it.

Dean Zulich Workshop

Hey everyone!
I wanted to update you on whats been going on in my world.

On Saturday, I attended a workshop given by Dean Zulich. Some of you may recognize the name as Dean was on Vh-1 "The Shot". I have always loved Dean's work and have been so inspired by him. When I found out he was hosting this workshop I soooo excited but then sad because I couldn't really afford it. But after working some things out, I was able to go!

The workshop was from 10-6pm and it even ran a bit late. We learned about lighting outside in different elements as it started off a foggy morning and turned into overhead sun within the course of 2 hours.

We were divided into 2 groups and each group shot a different scene outside with a car and 2 models. We were able to watch the other group and shoot from afar but we weren't able to utilize lighting until it was our turn. After this we went inside where again the 2 teams shot on different sets with the other models.

When those were said and done we were given a challenge.
1 model
1 light
wherever we wanted
5 minutes only.

I cant even begin to tell you how amazing some of the other photographers were. They had been doing this for some time. I came into this nervous and anxious. I primarily shoot portrait photography in studio. I have had no training or experience shooting models utilizing the type of lighting we had. I was anxious to learn and watch everyone else. Posing was also something that we were left to ourselves. I tried to interact with the models but I was really nervous. I told them when I thought they got an awesome pose and asked them to change positions. I think I could have loosened up more and tried to have more fun... but when you are sweating and have a heartbeat of a marathon runner.. I guess some things slip.

Well... I cant begin to tell you how I felt when it came time to critique the photos. We were to give Dean 1 photo from each teach and 1 from the challenge. He turned on the projector and he gave the critique in front of the entire workshop. All 3 photos from every person. Dean is very honest, he doesn't beat around the bush. Those who know me, can attest to that being the way I do things also... with that in mind I was worried my photos would be picked apart but I knew I would learn what I did wrong in the process.
I almost fainted when Dean told me how amazing my shots were. How they looked like they were out of a magazine. All of these images were straight out of the camera , no editing. He said I got the composition and the use of light in photos was "sick". On my 2nd teach I did need a bit more light on Michelle ( the models) face but I knew that. He said he was sooo surprised with my performance but that my photos were some of the best. I just sat there dumbfounded. He even said "Shes a child photographer, she didn't even want to come because she has not had any experience in this and she goes and pulls off the best photo". Good thing the lights were off because I probably looked like a turnip or tomato.

In the end.. after I believe 14 photographers were critiqued... Dean named the winner of the challenge,
Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I know right..... I couldn't breathe... it all felt surreal.

When he gave the challenge I had been trying to think of something creative but I kept hitting a wall. I wanted to shoot outside.. I knew I wanted James as I wanted to light him from behind to see the outline of his head.

It got dark and I got nervous so I decided to shoot inside on the brick set up and try and shoot the light behind him but from the side.... I didn't even use all my 5 minutes and I felt kinda cocky saying I was done when Sasha his assistant said I had 1 minute left. I didn't say I was done because I knew I nailed it. I was just so nervous I couldn't think of any other ways to pose him. LOL But when I looked through my frames! HOLY FRIGGIN COW! I saw like 5 or 6 I wanted to use and it was a hard choice. But I honestly had ZERO thought I could even place top 4 let alone win!

I surprise myself and in the end I realized where my passion is. Fashion!
So stay tuned in the next few weeks as I re brand myself and start pursuing other avenues as well.

I wanted to take this time to wish all my friends, family and clients a VERY

I wanted to tell you about a fantastic FUN reality series starring some of the hottest photographers around. Many of whom are my inspiration and that insipire me daily.

They were brought together not knowing what it was for only to end up being broken into 2 teams. They would then spend 24 hours to write, shoot, and edit an original short film about photography, AND an original PSA about the respective charity for which they are playing.

Happy Birthday Izzy

So this post is all about me being a mom and bragging about my gorgeous daughter. :O)
Izzy is going to be 3 tomorrow and I swear time goes by sooooo fast.
It seems like yesterday that I was in labor after walking 5 miles through a corn maze.
Odd bit of information for you all. I wanted her to be born on the 11th but the odds were against me obviously.. my due date was the 17th so yeah there was a chance but come on.....
You might be thinking the 11th ok, why?
Well.... My sons birthday is May 11th and my birthday is April 11th~
But I got my wish and she was born on October 11th! No more kids for me and could you imagine the pressure of having another child born on the 11th! hahaha

Anyway... we played in the studio today so I could get some more photos for her birthday!

Being a photographer is a wonderful thing but being her mom is the best thing in the world.

Senior Session at Howarth Park

Sorry I havent posted its been a crazy few weeks.
Josh ( my husband) was laid off from his job, so he spent 2 weeks looking and was lucky enough to get a great job as a manager in a luxry hotel.
Anyway enough about me.... on to the fun stuff!!!!!

I had a fantastic senior session last week with Morgan. We had a BLAST down at Howarth park. We were so lucky to be able to use the railroad tracks (there was a parked train so no seniors were in harms way when being photographed for this session)
Morgan was so much fun and we got some fantastic shots.

New Backdrop new photos

So I got a really cute backdrop that I have been wanting for a LONG time. Its called "babycakes". Not only is it PERFECT for Ballerina style or little girl photos. It is versatile and can be used for family portraits ( think Holiday style but ones you would love to keep on the wall al year) also maternity photos.

Here are a few I took recently of my gorgeous little girl who is turning 3 in 2 weeks. ( time flies)

Elysia is a cancer survivor cuurently raising money for an operation on her arm to relieve swelling that has occured as a result of her illness. anyway....
Elysia is a wonderful person and we will be learning more about her next month.

Saturday we headed out to West Seattle to photograph a gorgeous little girl named Chloe.
I met through Chloe through an organization called Littlest Heroes Project. ( I need to update my site and blog to add them). She was such a sweetheart.

I know, I know where have I been. I should smack myself with a ruler. I am horrible at keeping up with this. I need a swift kick in the ........ I have been really busy with maternity sessions and weddings and updating my website and im in the process of getting my wedding website complete and ready to launch next week. But, I know that you come here for updates and I let you down. So I apologize.

Where do I start!

I went to Los Angeles August 6th-August 11th.
While I have family and friends there, my main goal was to attend the David Jay seminar "Free to Succeed" BOY did I learn alot there. I will be implenting a few things I learned right away. Some will take a bit longer.
I was also able to meet my friend Charise http://www.photographybycharise.com/
We always have a blast together and we sat in the front row and just took it all in.
I then was her second shooter for a wedding on Friday 9th.
It was an Indonesian wedding ceremony and then some bride/groom shots.
I really had a great time not only being part of such a culturally rich ceremony, but being able to watch Charise.

2 Seniors at Picnic Point

Yesterday I got to meet Hope and Brittany. They are going to be Seniors next year and we did their Senior photos at Picnic Point in Edmonds. They certainly had a good time even jumping in the water for their last shots.
I promised them a few sneak peeks before I head off to Los Angeles.
I will be there until the 11th. I will be attending a photography conference hosted by David Jay who is so incredibly talented. I will also be 2nd shooting a wedding with my friend Charise on Friday which I am so excited about. I moved to Seattle from LA 3 years ago so to me its like going home. :)

Calder's 1st Birthday

I get a kick out of seeing my clients grow before my eyes. I am sure you all remember my "cover boy" Calder he is on my website and some of my business cards.
Look at how much he has GROWN! I can hardly believe its the same baby.
It really makes me smile that clients reurn to me to document their childrens growth. Getting to know my clients and having a good time during the session, is so important.
This was Calder's 1st Birthday and although he was a bit put off by the cake.... He had a great time. Izzy even came into entertain him.

Fritts/Harlan Wedding

I know I have said it before, but I cant stress enough how much fun it is to be part of something so wonderful. To be chosen to document such a special day. I was so happy and excited to be part of it.
I was able to meet Ashlee and Roger awhile back, so we have gotten to know each other over the last few months and it really is a huge difference when you feel at ease with your vendors and vice versa.
Josh and I both had such a wonderful time with you and your family and we hope you enjoy these sneak peeks! :O)

On Sunday Christy( a gorgeous model I have worked with before) and I set up a networking event with other models and photogs from Model Mayhem.
We met at Alki beach and after some confusion, we finally grabbed an empty spot and started shooting.
I had so much fun and honestly the models were so great to work with.
Here are some of the shots from the day! Our focus was Bridals/Trash The Dress and we were lucky enough to have a GORGEOUS bouquet donated to us by The Petal and the Stem.
The Petal and the Stem is in Mill Creek. Candice designed it and had it ready for us in a few hours. I highly recommend using them for any of your floral needs. I know I will!

I had a fun session with a family and their kids at a local park here in Everett.
They have a great dock, lakefront area that runs on Silverlake.
I love taking pictures of kids outdoors. Dont get me wrong, studio has its pro's. But kids are more relaxed, they have fun when they can be themselves.
I am really lucky to find families that like my style and have fun at the session. Its less stressful and nobody leaves feeling flustered. Here are a few sneak peeks. including a whimsical creation! :)

Last week I had an engagement session with Dana and Matthew at Bothell Landing. They were such a fun couple and easy to work with.

Sunday I was able to photograph a gorgeous family and their adorable lil one. He had the best expressions and such a cheeky personality.

He is also the first baby ever to happily pose in the "teacup". He didnt fuss, cry or anything. He was content to chill there. It was funny.

Here are a few photos from the session. I hope to have it complete by tomorrow night as I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled on Thursday.

Please all feel sorry for me and feel free to send pints of ice cream or mashed potatoes. :)Yep I get to my spend the 4th of July hopped up on percocet ( im allergic to Vicodin, I know, its a shame).

I am sneak peeking a few photos from my session on Friday. This was from a beach in West Seattle.
Those who know me, understand I am from LA so when I go to a "beach" here it is VASTLY different then one in CA. I see all the rocks and pebbles and lack of sand and just wonder what people do. There is some sand but lo and behold its over on the "private area" HAHAH so we try to get as close to this area as possible. Of course we got too close and the guard dog (hahah) came chasing after the kids. LOL But anyway..... this was an incredible session.
The family was FUN, down to earth and had a great time. This always make it so much more enjoyable for me to photograph. This is why I do what I what I do. I enjoy seeing into other peopls lives and how they interact. It was clear from this family that they epitomize LiveLove and Laugh! ( cheesy, ok but so true) So here is a few.. and only a few to tease you all! ENJOY!

I know its been awhile. I took a few days off to finish up and work on some new prjects. At the end of May I had scheduled myself 5 sessions in a 6 day span. So I really needed to set aside time to get some other things done. Not to mentiont that we attended my sons Choir concert, as well as Isabella's gymnastics. So its been busy. But I have some exciting things to add in the next week. We will be running a Christmas in July Promotion soon, as well as introducing new wedding pricing. Woodland Park Zoo outing

Monday I was able to spend the day with my family and we went to the Woodland Park here in Seattle. Usually I must admit, I am not a huge Zoo fan. I come from LA, zoo's there are hot, smelly, overcrowded and with people who are usually irate and screaming in other languages ( not that other languages are bad or anything)
Woodland Park Zoo, even when crowded was NOTHING! We were able to walk around and see things, and really enjoy the day.

Last Sunday I had a session at Picnic Point in Edmonds, WA. This gorgeous family showed up and we had so much fun. The weather held out and it wasnt too crowded but there were certainly people enjoying the nice day of no rain. I really like some of the conversions on these. I LOVE black and white photos, to me they are timeless and tell a story. The two little girls were precious and dressed so cute, so of course I will have tons in color also. What a weekend. I have sessions all weekend starting from Thursday evening. I am so happy to be doing this, and this weekend was so gorgeous. I dont mind being busy when i can do what I love and provide people with images they will love.

So, I have had time this week to prepare my Senior Spokesmodel items for my spokesmodel Megan. They look fantastic and she is super excited to be giving them out.

Saturday I have 2 sessions and Sunday I have another 2 sessions. So I am going to be VERY busy. Which is good... dont get me wrong... and I am SOOOO lucky that the weather will be sunny and warm for those 4 days.

Meet Megan!
We had such a fun time at Lundeen park in Lake Stevens. I'd never been there before and I guess for a So.Cal girl, I am more used to LA, Hollywood then I am lakes with people bumping Black Eyed Peas as they waterski ( or whatever it was they were doing) it was a bit weird, but very normal for this area. In fact tomorrow is offical launch for "Boat Season"
Anyway.... Not only did it stop raining, the sun came out... FULL SUN! grrr..... But you know what, I made the best of it and tried to use it to my advantage
I'm not even halfway done yet, but I wanted to get these up here for them to see, and to obviously show all of you ( whomever is out there in blog land)
This is the first of 2 sessions and we have big plans for the next one also!

These are few photos from one of my sessions this weekend.
I had a great time with them. Dylan and I danced in my kitchen while his mom was getting his baby Madelyn ready. This age can be very hard depending on mood. Which is why maybe only every month or so I can get my own daughter in the studio. Needless to say, I was still able to get some cute captures, and he is such a little cutie!

Missing Lake Stevens Teenager!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found this information out~!

She has been found, she’s alive. Apparently she hasn’t come home yet though. She has been talking with friends and the friends got her to talk to the police and she promised to come home but as of yet she has not come home. Until she is home, she is still very much in harm’s way. Hopefully she keeps her promise and comes home soon.

Nicole Kelly is a 13-year old dancer who I have photographed for dance team and dance class portraits for the past two years. She's very tall and thin, and has a pointed stud in her lower lip now (not shown in these portraits.) She's 5'9" and around 105 pounds. She looks much older than 13 - closer to 18. She was last seen in Lake Stevens on April 1st (yesterday). I don't know the details of how she disappeared, other than that it's possible she ran away, but very likely that she's in danger. If you have seen her, please call 911 and tell the operator that you've spotted Nicole Kelly, the missing teenager from Lake Stevens.
Please pass this on to anyone you know in the Pacific Northwest - the more eyes out there looking for her, the faster we can bring her home to her family, safe and sound.

So I wanted to post some more photos from the fantastic couple in Las Vegas.
They had just gotten married and we happened to luck into them in front of Bellagio.
What a FUN time we all had shooting them, it started with Charise ( a good friend and also a photographer from Los Angeles) and then we were joined with at least 4 other photographers. It was a scene to be had and only in Las Vegas is this almost normal.

2. I just got back from WPPI in Las Vegas. This is a HUGE convention for wedding and portrait photographers from all over the world really..... and they hold classes, have speakers, demonstrations, etc.

Operation LoveReunited Session and news

These are a few from my Operation LoveReunited Session I did. They were a great couple and he is deploying shortly. They are also engaged and playing a wedding in 2009. I was very honored to be part of their lives and be able to provide them with these photos.
I enjoy participating in charities such as these, because I feel like I am giving something back to the commuity and to people who are either going through something that I might not be able to understand. The one thing we can all understand is compassion, and the ability to see beauty in everything. Which is what makes photography so special. It has different meanings to all that view it. It evokes emotion!!!

GUESS WHAT? I know, what could be more exciting then getting an update to this blog? :)

I do want to share some of my recent photos.

I was so lucky to be able to photograph Brandon. Born on Jan 11th.

He is one of the most photogenic babies I have seen. I am excited to be doing a full newborn session this coming week, so check back for that.

This is the gorgeous mom looking lovingly at her son. I dont think she was paying attention to me when I took this, which made for a great emotional connection.

Usually when I edit a photo, I try to stay clear of too many effects, but for me personally, I liked this effect on this photo.

Here he is peacefully sleeping. He didnt make a peep the entire time I was in the hospital room.

I think its wonderful to have photographs from the hospital because as a mom myself I know what a giant blur it can all become.

Time is running out for Holiday photos, but I can still book a session and if you order before the 12th you can have them back in time for Christmas.

These are just a few of the holiday photographs I have taken over the last month. Next year I do plan to hit the market much earlier and have all my items ready to go.

So, I really am ashamed I dont keep up with this blog. But I have been busy so it is at least a good excuse right? ( say right!)

Well this will be worth it.... my first wedding and I am SO very proud of the shots we got. Im only about a 1/4 through them, but I promised my Bride and Groom a sneak preview~!

I must say, I had alot of fun at this wedding, My Bride and Groom Brandon and Shannon were so fun and I got along well with them. I honestly think that makes any session, especially a wedding that much easier!
The Ceremony was held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Everett. It was a gorgeous location! The reception was held at the Monte Cristo Hotel in Everett. The Monte Cristo had a funky Display of art going on the same time, but you know what, I thought it was pretty darn cool~
So, ladies and gentlefolk... here is a sneak preview !

Trash The Dress!

The entire premise behind a Trash The Dress session is to take your wedding gown (after the wedding) and be photographed in a way you normally wouldnt be. It could be on a set of railroad tracks in the rain, or perhaps a swimming pool, in a waterfall, in mud. You get the point.
On Saturday I headed to Picnic Point in Edmonds to do a session with Christy.

Seattle weather being what it is, it had been raining on and off all day and when we arrived it was pouring. It took about 15 minutes but it did stop long enough to run out there. Of course the water was freezing and as much as I did want to have some shots in the water submerged, I couldnt do that to my model.

I think they still came out amazing and I have many many more shots to proof, but here are a few sneak peeks from the session.

Its been awhike, my apologies! We took a family vacation to visit friends and family in Los Angeles and then I had 6 shoots to complete. Here are a few from my Senior shoots I had. These are both my Reps and I am so hapy with the reuslts of these Senior Photos. I love the color plays and how The eyes really speak to you. I also incorporated a trash the dress style into my 2nd shoot and the pink dress really pops from the photos.

Photographers who are part of this organization provide a free photos sesssion and free 4x6 proof album to families of active military members.

The proof album is sent or given to the member deployed .

This shoot was also taken at Bothell Landing in Bothell, WA and I really love this location. Not only is it lush with greenery, it has a river, many trails, bridges and remote locations.

This couple was newly married. and he will be gone for a long time.

I hope that the memories will help him on those long nights.

Senior Photos in Bothell

So I was scouting locations for Senior shoots in Everett. I found this great place in Bothell called Bothell Landing!. There are sooo many different ways to utilize this park! With the Sammamish river twisting through it, bridges, trails, outdoor concert area... it makes for a neverending photo backdrop. Here are some samples I took!

So, last week we went to Edmonds Marina Beach, this is a nice area in Edmonds, WA not too far from me in Everett, WA. What was a trip to let my dog explore the offleash dog park, became as always a chance for me to break out the camera and take some photos. As much as I enjoy taking photographs of babies, and other peoples children.. I of course enjoy taking photos of my own family and that includes super puppy LuLu!

I had a shoot the other day for a 6 week old baby and her sister! It was so much fun. I had previously done her newborn shoot and was amazed at just how much she had changed in 5 weeks. I also had ALOT of fun with the older sister! She really warmed up and by the end was laughing and having a GREAT time!

So I have been hosting Portrait Parties for members of my Mom's Group ( Tots in Tow)

It has been really fun. The only downfall to hosting them in my home, is I do not get to socialize with the entire group. I have fun nonetheless.

My First Blog

So here it is. My first blog.

My inspiration and passion for photography started when my daughter was born. I have always enjoyed photography, but never on this level.

I love to spend time and get to know my clients. I want to create a relaxed fun environment. We all know the stories of packed waiting rooms at your local mall studio. Stressed out parents, anxious siblings, frustrated photographers only allowed to take so many frames.
That is the anti photographer.

Life IS more then a snapshot! I aspire to capture a memory, a memory that will be cherished and remembered forever!
